"Low Profile" is a 2006 Ellis 36 Express Cruiser. Classic Yachting Solutions sold her to a local businessman who had been looking for a "picnic boat." She is the only one of her kind, as each Ellis boat is built specifically for its owner. The yacht literally docks itself due to Ellis' patented SideKick system which includes bow and stern thrusters operated by joysticks at the captain's fingertips. Her decks are solid teak throughout and her cabin is spacious and luxurious. "Low Profile" is often out on harbor cruises and picnics. However, the owner also plans to take the boat south for some long range cruising for which the Ellis' seaworthy, off-shore hull is more than capable. She stands out in a crowd of boats that claim to be "traditional" because Ellis Boat Company is traditional and has been building yachts one at a time for over 50 years.
